ANNOUNCING!....MVVC APRIL EVENT
Membership Social Meeting & Brunch
Station 885 Restaurant
885 Starkweather
Plymouth, MI 48170
Noon, Sunday, April 3
Hey MVVC Members!
Spring is about to be sprung and thoughts of getting the old VWs out from their long winter hibernation are surely in mind. While it maybe a bit early to break them out for the warm driving seasons, it's always the right time to gather with other Volks folks for some MVVC fellowship and vintage VW banter, and especially in anticipation of the fun that lies just ahead. So, how about getting together with your fellow MVVC members for a Sunday social meeting and brunch?
We'll try a new restaurant for an MVVC gathering this time, one that's sorta centrally located for our far flung membership, reasonably priced, with an interesting environment (great for kids of all ages) and with a great Sunday brunch on offer. Station 885 is housed in a former train depot alongside an active railroad line, just outside of the Old Town section of Plymouth. In addition to it's regular lunch and dinner menus, Station 885 features a very nice Sunday brunch (until 2:00 PM), priced at $14.99 for adults and $8.99 for kids 10 and under. The brunch offers breakfast dishes such as eggs, bacon and sausage, French toast, all kinds of breads and pastries, made-to-order omlettes and crepes plus fresh fish and shrimp, carving station roast beef, chicken, salads, veggies, fruits and all sorts of desserts.
We'll gather starting at noon. While this is primarily a social (and eating) event, your MVVC Board will endeavor to sneak in a few words about the status of Festival Weekend planning and welcome your comments and suggestions (and your volunteering your help with the Festival).
Station 885 (www.station885.com , 734-459-0885) is located at 885 Starkweather in the Old Town section of Plymouth (northeast of downtown).
