Newbie here. A bit about myself. Im 52 years old, and an old hot rodder. I am not the Hot Rod snob that makes fun of VDubs, because I do both. I have built hot rods and classics as a hobby since I was 15 years old with my Dad. Built many over the years, including VW. My VW resume is a couple bugs, Manx, Baja, MGTD VW Kit, 1957 Kombi, and most recent, my 15 year old daughter's 1969 Bug. I also have a 71 Karman SB convertible project that is going under the knife come spring and end up a Roadster Volksrod for the wife. Our current runner is my daughter's 69 she lovingly dubbed "Scarab". It is her pride and joy, and yes, she is a gearhead like her old man, and most definatly a car chic. She helped me with Scarab, and there isn't many nuts on it that she hasn't personally touched herself. It has a late 1600dp, electronic ignition, 4 wheel discs, and some pretty booming tunes. Here is a picture of her Scarab (with her mother). Looking forward in seeing you guys around the runs and swap meets.. BTW: We are looking for another decent runner in the classifies.

Hello! I am new as well, but I am new to every aspect of VW as well as this fourm. A bit about myself as well- I am Jake, a 16 year old from an undisclosed location (can never be too safe). I have recently purchased a 1971 Karmann Ghia to work on. I love classic Volkswagens and other classic cars, and I am looking forward to joining this club and engaging in the activities and shows with them.
